It is Just Me and Only a Prayer
Dreams of success are easy to make when we share them with others, who are supportive. It is the challenges that come to hinder our progress, and test our strength, when we begin our walk up the Ladder of Success alone.
When I walked onto the Ladder of Success, I heard the distance voices of doubt that I could reach the top. There were times when I felt the Ladder of Success shaking violently underneath my feet and I nearly lost my balance; those were the times when I prayed for strength to hold on.
I soon realized I had enemies whose hands were on the Ladder of Success determined to keep me from reaching the top.
There were times when the top of the Ladder of Success seemed farther away each day as I struggled to keep from falling and to ignore the voices of doubt continuing to say, “You will never make it!” Why, don’t you let go?”
When the day of silence of the voices and sturdiness of the ladder of Success finally came, I heard the cheers of “Congratulation!” from my friends; I had reached the top of the Ladder of Success!
At the end of my journey on the Ladder of Success, I came to the conclusion; a person does not have to be religious to reach the top of the Ladder of Success; but every one that step onto the Ladder of Success, must have hope. And I whispered a prayer of thanks for hope.
