Occasionally, everyone will have a sleepless night; that is logical.
It is when sleepless nights become frequently, that they should be of concern for the individual’s health.
The person who has frequent nights of not being able to sleep will eventually, experience loss of appetite, restlessness, tiredness and unable to concentrate, and discomfort within his or her body, such as headaches and abdominal pain and indigestion and other symptoms.
Stress can be a factor in causing one to not be able to sleep.
Here are some helpful tips on removing the underlying cause of sleepless nights:
- Control as much stress in your life as possible.
- Schedule work ahead; plan as much of your work to lighten your workload.
- Eat small meals that are nutritious if you are not hungry but have not eaten.
- Drink nutritious beverages and water to maintain fluid intake.
- Try to prevent stressful situations when it is possible.
- It is unhealthy to withhold things within your mind if you are unhappy with someone.
- It is OK to have a personal conversation with respect to the other person who is making you unhappy.
- Try to find things to relax your mind.
Make sure you are not the problem in your relationship.
In a relationship, the other person should always be the center of your attention.
1. Listen 2 . Comfort 3. Encourage 4. Speak kind words
The other person should feel that when they are with you, the two of you become one force that nothing can resist. There is nothing the two of you cannot conquer. You need to feel the same about the person you are in a relationship with.
This is the making of a strong relationship that is established on Respect and Trust.

There have been times in my life when I have fallen down on my knees and prayed for financial intervention or to get a job. There are more people needing financial security nowadays than ever. However, there have always been the needs for Supernatural intervention, even in the days of
St. Peter who was in desperate need of having to pay a debt immediately and had no money.

Story as told:
And when they (Jesus & Peter) were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said,
“Doth not your master pay tribute?” He said, “Yes.”
Peter did the same thing as I have done and so many others
And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, “What thinkest thou, Simon?
Of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? Of their own children, or of strangers?”
Peter said unto him, “Of strangers.”
Something Required to Do
Jesus said unto him, “Then are the children free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them,
Go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast
opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.”
Obedience and Work are Required Before Receiving a Request From God
We know that Jesus could have given Peter the money miraculously. However, had he done so, it wouldn’t have taught Peter obedient and trust in times of more challenges that would test his faith in God.
There are times when answers don’t come easy. We have to remain steadfast and focused on our goal. Sometimes the road to success is paved with many obstacles.
And it seems that the harder you work the more challenges you will face. But, from my own personal experience I can say, God has never failed me.
I am stronger and wiser because of the challenges I have overcome with my trust in God and his interventions in my life, I have been successful in accomplishing the goals I set before me. Presently, I am looking forward to completing several new goals.
What this Lesson Teaches
From this lesson we learned; God understand the need for us to have financial means to get the things we need and pay for the services we use. God is our provider of the things we need for security. We also, understand that we have to work. We each have been given special talents and skills. Its up to us to have the desire to use them. In order for us to succeed in society, we must be willing to work hard and follow instructions. Peter was given specific instructions to follow in order to get the money he needed, by using his skill.

Copyright © 2005 My performing arts career began in churches in my preteen years. At about the age of 3, I used any object I could find to make music. My parents bought my first piano at the age 14 and provided me with music lessons. I grew up singing and performing in activities in churches and school. My company sponsors musical and talent shows frequently. I am also, a spiritual counselor. My teachings are based on life issues. My preference for music: inspiration, romance, classic, jazz and Latin. __ Ellen J. Barrier
At 5:00 a.m., I was awakened by a horrible storm. Tornadoes were said to be wrapped in rain and air traffic was halted. People were reportedly stranded in airports. The streets and highways were not suitable for traffic, according to a weather report.
My plans for my trip would take a miracle for me to get to my destination.
This trip is one of importance; it is our annual extravaganza. I am the sponsor and speaker. This is a 4 day event of fun and excitement: Fashion & Talent show, Musical, Items for sale, door prizes, Games, and lots of food and drinks.
Today is Thursday. My plans were to leave at 5:00 a. m. I have several vans packed with equipment and other things needed for this event that is scheduled in the great state of Texas! My family is asking, “Shall we start unpacking?” They believe it is hopeless. “The storms are not going to allow us to travel.”
I am not ready to give up. So, my decision was to wait until 8:00 a. m., and see if it is possible for us to leave. While we are waiting I am praying for a miracle. The rain stopped completely at 9:00 a.m., the weather report informed of scattered thundershowers ahead.
We left Kansas at 10:00 a.m. There were some lightning and thunderstorms along our journey. We arrived in Texas in the very late evening; thankful to God for a safe trip, a nice hotel and good Texas food to eat before retiring for the night, and looking forward to a great event with family and friends, and meeting lots of new people and old friends.
My Speech: The Storms of Life
On the first night of this event, I opened with a prayer and testimony. Everyone has a story to tell. I want to hear their stories. Many of their stories were very sad ones. My purpose is to listen, and to determine how best I can help each person. After listening to their stories, I chose to speak about The Storms of Life.
Storms will come and there is nothing we can do to prevent them. However, we can pray and patiently wait for God to get us safely through the storms. Just as the weather related storms cause disasters and harm and will halt our plans. So does the things that occur in our lives; such things as sickness, accidents, loss of financial income, divorce, problems in relationships, family problems and other reasons for unhappiness. We have a choice; give up or endure.
Hope comes from prayer. It gives us strength to endure and to persevere.
“He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increase strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up
With wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40: 29-31 (King James Bible)

“To be a great champion you must believe you are the best. If you’re not, pretend you are.” ~Muhammad Ali
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will he heareth us. And if we know that he heareth us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 1 John 5:14 & 1 John 5:15 (King James Bible)
Things we Desire: happiness, good health, prosperity, success
When we closely examine God’s Purpose for our lives, we find that he wants us to be happy, successful and prosperous, and to be in the best of health: those are his blessings with purpose for us. He doesn’t receive glory and honor for his greatness by seeing his people suffer. He has given us many things to use to obtain our desires. He has provided us with talents and educational tools to become successful and prosperous.
Muhammad Ali, who I very much admire for his confidence, has given us some words of wisdom to follow is quoted, “To be a great champion you must believe you are the best. If you’re not, pretend you are.”
Talent and Education: When it comes to competing with the best and brightest in whatever your talent or educational skill is, you have to have the confidence within yourself, that you are able to “Bring it!” I used this term because this is basically, what the writer in this Biblical statement is saying, when he used the term “Take his portion,”
“Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power, to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God Ecclesiastes 5:19
God’s Purpose for our Life: Prosperity, good health, success, and happiness
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 2
“There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.” Ecclesiastes 2:24
Riches and Wealth: God has given us talents and educational tools, to obtain riches and wealth. We can take our portion of the good things in life that we are endowed by our inalienable rights from God, if we have the confidence it takes within ourselves, to compete and to succeed, by being willing to fight for them.
