It is Just Me and Only a Prayer

It is Just Me and Only a Prayer

Dreams of success are easy to make when we share them with others, who are supportive. It is the challenges that come to hinder our progress, and test our strength, when we begin our walk up the Ladder of Success alone.

When I walked onto the Ladder of Success, I heard the distance voices of doubt that I could reach the top. There were times when I felt the Ladder of Success shaking violently underneath my feet and I nearly lost my balance; those were the times when I prayed for strength to hold on.

I soon realized I had enemies whose hands were on the Ladder of Success determined to keep me from reaching the top.

There were times when the top of the Ladder of Success seemed farther away each day as I struggled to keep from falling and to ignore the voices of doubt continuing to say, “You will never make it!” Why, don’t you let go?”

When the day of silence of the voices and sturdiness of the ladder of Success finally came, I heard the cheers of “Congratulation!” from my friends; I had reached the top of the Ladder of Success!

At the end of my journey on the Ladder of Success, I came to the conclusion; a person does not  have to be religious to reach the top of the Ladder of Success; but every one that step onto the Ladder of Success, must have hope. And I whispered a prayer of thanks for hope.

Watching the sunrise gives hope for a beautiful day. __ Ellen J. Barrier

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence come my help.

My help come from the LORD which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer your foot to be moved: he that keeps you will not slumber,

Behold, he that keeps Israel, shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is your keeper: the LORD is your shade upon your right hand.

The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul.

The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this

Time forth, and even for evermore.

Waiting For A Miracle

Woman wakes from 16-year catatonic state on Christmas Eve Day

Waiting For A Miracle

For 16 years, a 42-year-old female was said to have been unresponsive to the world -unable to Speak, swallow or move much. On Christmas Eve, she suddenly snapped back to consciousness.

“Don’t do that,” she blurted out when nurses were trying to fix her nursing home bed on Dec. 24, 2000.

Doctors cannot explain why this lady awakened from the catatonic state she slipped into while delivering her fourth child. According to this newspaper report,  doctors said her condition was caused by a blood clot that lodged in her lung and caused her to stop breathing during a Caesarean section.

A Caesarean section is the removal of a fetus by means of an incision into the uterus; that is usually done through the abdominal wall.

Regarding her medical condition, her speech is said to be clear, but still limited. Her hands which had been clenched tightly for 16 years have loosened.  She is said to be speaking her children names, catching up on family developments and spending a lot of time watching her children.

At this time, report is that she is being driven up into the mountains to breathe the fresh air. She has been wheeled around a shopping mall. On Monday, she was said to have pointed to her new running shoes and said: “I’m going to run.”

“I just went up to her and gave her a hug, and she gave me a hug back,” the oldest child was quoted saying to the newspaper.

Her mother reportedly said, “It was a Christmas miracle from God.”

It took 16 years for this miracle to occur. That gives us the knowledge to know that God does not operate on our time schedule. He can perform miracles at any given time, and in any place, based on his judgment.

If you are waiting for your miracle, do not give up. It could happen today.

God’s Angels are near; wherever you are.

How to Avoid Living in The Past

Posted on Updated on

There is a better future, with a greater purpose. We can find it, only when we search for it.

How to Avoid Living in The Past

To avoid living in the past, you must find a way to leave the past behind, and imagine a greater future of success and prosperity. If you feel guilty about something that you did in the past, or something you should have done, forgive yourself.  Accept God’s forgiveness for your wrongdoings. And strive for a better future, to become a better person.  Otherwise, you will become a prisoner locked behind the corridors of your past. There is a better future, with a greater purpose. One can find it, only if he or she searches for it.

You Must Release the Past from Your Mind

“But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”  Apostle Paul
