Problem #1: “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; But how to perform that which is good I find not.”
Problem #2: “But I see another law in my members warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”
Question: Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Making the Case for Sin:
Every person is confronted with the same problems regarding temptation. The flesh desires to commit wrongful acts that the spiritual makeup know should not be done; as the author notes “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.”
We know that the acts we contemplate on to commit, are wrongful, but our mind is unable to overpower the desire of the flesh. Once again, the author makes the case for sin by stating, ” Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.”
Understanding the cause of the problem and confessing our weakness, begins with getting power over our mind, through the works of the spiritual part of us. The author’s solution is the answer to the question:
“Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”
The bible teaches us that if we confess our sins to God, he will forgive us. When we stay in prayer to God on a daily basis, we become stronger and is able to resist committing wrongful acts; the spiritual strength we receive guides our mind, with righteous thoughts, that will enable us to resist temptation.
Scripture: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
A Stronger and Better Person
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (II Corinthians 5:17)

We live in a modern-day time of advanced technology. In this generation of people we have divisiveness. Crime and wars, along with diseases and sicknesses exist. Homeless, starvation and the lack of an adequate income, and no financial aide still exist in many places.
The storms of life and physical storms, along with disasters plaque our world; leaving many people searching for answers: Why, do God allow these things to happen? and Where is Jesus?
History has taught us that these things have never left Earth. The purpose for which Jesus came to Earth was to give us hope and offer us a better life of peace with God. He gave us the understanding that the poor would always exist upon Earth. His work consisted of educating people about the power of God, healing those with diseases and sicknesses, feeding the hungry, spreading Joy and Peace and so many others things that made him God within the body of a man.
Today, Jesus lives in the Hearts and Souls of those who continues his work.
Where is Jesus Today?
Jesus is in shelters providing a place to live for those who are homeless.
Jesus is working in places to provide food for the hungry.
Jesus is in medical facilities providing health care for those who are sick.
Jesus is in the firemen battling the fires to save lives.
Jesus is in the police officers who have dedicated their lives to protect others.
Jesus in in the teachers who provide educational skills and teach self-confidence and respect to their students.
Jesus is in the streets, listening to those who tells him about their pain and suffering and all their troubles: He let them know that they are not alone. He offers to them his Love and Peace.
Jesus lives in the Soul of the Spiritual Leader that follows in his footsteps to serve all people. It is a calling, and not a choice.

Lies have no ending: They destroy innocent lives. The person who chose to engage in lies has a weak character. There is nothing positive that can be gained from lying on others. Innocent people have been harmed by lies: Some have been sent to prison, and relationships have ended based on lies that were told. Liars convince themselves that their service is necessary to accomplish their desires. Such people have no conscious of another person’s feelings and neither do they care. The harm they cause to others will define them as people who are dangerous to society.
