Where is Jesus Today?

Posted on Updated on

We live in a modern-day time of advanced technology. In this generation of people we have divisiveness. Crime and wars, along with diseases and sicknesses exist. Homeless, starvation and the lack of an adequate income, and no financial aide still exist in many places.
The storms of life and physical storms, along with disasters plaque our world; leaving many people searching for answers: Why, do God allow these things to happen? and Where is Jesus?
History has taught us that these things have never left Earth. The purpose for which Jesus came to Earth was to give us hope and offer us a better life of peace with God. He gave us the understanding that the poor would always exist upon Earth. His work consisted of educating people about the power of God, healing those with diseases and sicknesses, feeding the hungry, spreading Joy and Peace and so many others things that made him God within the body of a man.
Today, Jesus lives in the Hearts and Souls of those who continues his work.
Where is Jesus Today?
Jesus is in shelters providing a place to live for those who are homeless.
Jesus is working in places to provide food for the hungry.
Jesus is in medical facilities providing health care for those who are sick.
Jesus is in the firemen battling the fires to save lives.
Jesus is in the police officers who have dedicated their lives to protect others.
Jesus in in the teachers who provide educational skills and teach self-confidence and respect to their students.
Jesus is in the streets, listening to those who tells him about their pain and suffering and all their troubles: He let them know that they are not alone. He offers to them his Love and Peace.
Jesus lives in the Soul of the Spiritual Leader that follows in his footsteps to serve all people. It is a calling, and not a choice.

Music Is a Serious Business

Music Is a Serious Business

I enjoy writing and recording my lyrics and music. It is costly to produce music. Like all businesses, there is a profit to be expected from the investments made by the owner, who has invested time and energy as well as finances to produce music.  I view my music as serious, because my lyrics and rhythm, reflects who I am. I am honored to hear my fans views of a song I have written. It is also, a great appreciation of recognition from other artists, who takes time out of their busy schedules to pay me a compliment.

I also appreciate listening to the music of other artists, and have respect for them as well, regardless of the genres. To respect another artist, is not to use their material without their written consent.  Downloading music, that should be paid for is unfair to the artists who are in the music industry for the promotion of their business to receive profits. They experience business losses too: for operational expenses, through travel, gasoline, hotel, food, rental fees for a building to perform, payments to others who help with the production and other expenses.

Speaking from my own personal experience in my career, as author, public speaker and Singer/Songwriter, during the Extravaganza Events, I have produced as the owner of Barrier’s Books & Associates, music is a serious business.

project what any music i hear here would sound like in a million dollar studio, keeping in mind that i love music when it is raw, and unpolished. Having said that ,this a nice piece of music to listen to. . The production needs work,i think you know that. But the sentiment ,and the base is great. Carry on..VERY MUCH ENJOYED.
Perfect the way it is.

This comes from the heart. Its undedited and even with only a flew tiny flaws, you kept your head up. Gave it your all. The tags you used should be genres here on AP. Why they don’t have any religious genres is beyond me. God bless and take care. Timmer

God Give Us Your Blessings

Our Father God,

Comfort the hearts of those who are sad, give them memories of happiness and love.

Let peace dwell within the minds of those who are tormented with grief.

Give strength to the weak, and heal the broken hearts.

Heal the sick bodies of those who are afflicted and wounded, of their pain.

Father, remember the poor and needy, and those who suffers from hunger and homelessness.

Shower us with financial blessings, and give us knowledge and wisdom to help others.

Father, help us to accept all people as your creation. Give us understanding to know that we are The Family of God.

Our Father God, to you we give honor, and ask for your blessings in good health and prosperity.

Thank you for extending to us, your grace and mercy.  Amen

Waiting For A Miracle

Woman wakes from 16-year catatonic state on Christmas Eve Day

Waiting For A Miracle

For 16 years, a 42-year-old female was said to have been unresponsive to the world -unable to Speak, swallow or move much. On Christmas Eve, she suddenly snapped back to consciousness.

“Don’t do that,” she blurted out when nurses were trying to fix her nursing home bed on Dec. 24, 2000.

Doctors cannot explain why this lady awakened from the catatonic state she slipped into while delivering her fourth child. According to this newspaper report,  doctors said her condition was caused by a blood clot that lodged in her lung and caused her to stop breathing during a Caesarean section.

A Caesarean section is the removal of a fetus by means of an incision into the uterus; that is usually done through the abdominal wall.

Regarding her medical condition, her speech is said to be clear, but still limited. Her hands which had been clenched tightly for 16 years have loosened.  She is said to be speaking her children names, catching up on family developments and spending a lot of time watching her children.

At this time, report is that she is being driven up into the mountains to breathe the fresh air. She has been wheeled around a shopping mall. On Monday, she was said to have pointed to her new running shoes and said: “I’m going to run.”

“I just went up to her and gave her a hug, and she gave me a hug back,” the oldest child was quoted saying to the newspaper.

Her mother reportedly said, “It was a Christmas miracle from God.”

It took 16 years for this miracle to occur. That gives us the knowledge to know that God does not operate on our time schedule. He can perform miracles at any given time, and in any place, based on his judgment.

If you are waiting for your miracle, do not give up. It could happen today.

God’s Angels are near; wherever you are.

I need a miracle today

Posted on Updated on

I Need A Miracle Today

At 5:00 a.m., I was awakened by a horrible storm.  Tornadoes were said to be wrapped in rain and air traffic was halted. People were reportedly stranded in airports.  The streets and highways were not suitable for traffic, according to a weather report.

My plans for my trip would take a miracle for me to get to my destination.

This trip is one of importance; it is our annual extravaganza. I am the sponsor and speaker. This is a 4 day event of fun and excitement: Fashion  & Talent show, Musical, Items for sale, door prizes, Games, and lots of food and drinks.

Today is Thursday. My plans were to leave at 5:00 a. m. I have several vans packed with equipment and other things needed for this event that is scheduled in the great state of Texas! My family is asking, “Shall we start unpacking?”  They believe it is hopeless.  “The storms are not going to allow us to travel.”

I am not ready to give up. So, my decision was to wait until 8:00 a. m., and see if it is possible for us to leave.  While we are waiting I am praying for a miracle. The rain stopped completely at 9:00 a.m., the weather report informed of scattered thundershowers ahead.

We left Kansas at 10:00 a.m. There were some lightning and thunderstorms along our journey. We arrived in Texas in the very late evening; thankful to God for a safe trip, a nice hotel and good Texas food to eat before retiring for the night, and looking forward  to a great event with family and friends, and meeting lots of new people and old friends.

My Speech:   The Storms of Life

On the first night of this event, I opened with a prayer and testimony. Everyone has a story to tell. I want to hear their stories. Many of their stories were very sad ones. My purpose is to listen, and to determine how best I can help each person. After listening to their stories, I chose to speak about The Storms of Life.

Storms will come and there is nothing we can do to prevent them. However, we can pray and patiently wait for God to get us safely through the storms. Just as the weather related storms cause disasters and harm and will halt our plans. So does the things that occur in our lives; such things as sickness, accidents, loss of financial income, divorce, problems in relationships, family problems and other reasons for unhappiness. We have a choice; give up or endure.

Hope comes from prayer. It gives us strength to endure and to persevere.

“He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increase strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up

With wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Isaiah 40: 29-31 (King James Bible)

Confidence to Succeed in Competition

Confidence to Succeed in Competition

“To be a great champion you must believe you are the best. If you’re not, pretend you are.” ~Muhammad Ali

(Life Quotes)

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will he heareth us.  And if we know that he heareth us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”   1 John 5:14 & 1 John 5:15 (King James Bible)

Things we Desire: happiness, good health, prosperity, success

When we closely examine God’s Purpose for our lives, we find that he wants us to be happy, successful and prosperous, and to be in the best of health: those are his blessings with purpose for us. He doesn’t receive glory and honor for his greatness by seeing his people suffer. He has given us many things to use to obtain our desires. He has provided us with talents and educational tools to become successful and prosperous.

Muhammad Ali, who I very much admire for his confidence, has given us some words of wisdom to follow is quoted, “To be a great champion you must believe you are the best. If you’re not, pretend you are.”

Talent and Education: When it comes to competing with the best and brightest in whatever your talent or educational skill is, you have to have the confidence within yourself, that you are able to “Bring it!” I used this term because this is basically, what the writer in this Biblical statement is saying, when he used the term “Take his portion,”

“Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power, to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God Ecclesiastes 5:19

God’s Purpose for our Life: Prosperity, good health, success, and happiness

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest  prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”  3 John 2

“There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.”  Ecclesiastes 2:24

Riches and Wealth: God has given us talents and educational tools, to obtain riches and wealth. We can take our portion of the good things in life that we are endowed by our inalienable rights from God, if we have the confidence it takes within ourselves, to compete and to succeed, by being willing to fight for them.
